Is There Something Wrong with Me?

My Blockbuster online queue is up to around 195 movies and TV shows. It's daunting. It could be far more. I also have an Excel spreadsheet listing the mass of TV-on-DVD sets I intend on watching someday. When something new comes out, I add it to the Blockbuster queue or the Excel spreadsheet. The problem is, then it's at the bottom. It may take years to get to. That's not fair!

I've decided to use a random number generator to put me at ease. That way, everything has a fair chance of being selected. It's also unpredictable, which I kind of like in this case.

You might think I consume too much media if I have to go to these lengths. I'm not sure. Maybe so, but it's what I like to do with my free time.

I also like to have my 15,000 songs(it's taken me 10 years to reach this milestone) in iTunes on party shuffle. So sue me. In the car or walking to class, I usually only listen to albums. I keep it real sometimes.

In figuring out what to keep and throw away for the big move coming up, I am faced with a dilemma. I have 4-5 big Case Logic CD binders all filled up. Thing is, I haven't pulled them out since sometime in the winter of 2006. All of my music is on my hard drive. All of it is backed up on DVDs. What do I need to keep the CDs around for? I don't. But I think it would be a huge waste to chuck 'em. I suppose I will hang on to them to show the kids one day when they ask what a CD is.
