Thirteen of my co-workers were laid off on Monday. That was my first day back to work since Thanksgiving vacation. I brought a gift for my boss from ESPNZone in Atlanta. You see, after that gift, he couldn't fire me. That would be unkosher. Funny how things work out. I'm safe once again....for now.

Coming from 65 degree weather in Atlanta, to 25 degrees and a foot of snow is soooooo not funny. I am so glad this is my last winter here. Hmm...first, I could barely get my car out of the drifted over parking lot at work. Next, there is over 18" drifts in the driveway which I tried to blow out. I only got halfway done. Then, the furnace went out. So I had to call the grumpy repairman who was here from 12:15-12:45am....and he didn't even take off his boots. At least I am warm now.

I have been up since yesterday morning at 8:30. I was in the car from 5pm yesterday until 4pm today. I am tired. Time for bed. Hmm..Did I mention that I was wearing a t-shirt yesterday, and today I am wearing my winter jacket? Bah! Minnesota!

I had four original Krispy Kreme's from the original Atlanta location this morning. Hot. Fresh off the conveyor. Eat your heart out Patrick.

We made it safely. I got to drive from 5am to 8am. Yuck. Yesterday we went to some big Chrismas tree lighting in downtown Atlanta. Edwin McCain and John Berry showed up and played for free!! That was cool. Oh yeah, the leg-kickin' Radio City Rockette's were there too. Cool. Plus, they broadcast the whole thing live on TV...wooo!! Ok, but I wasn't on TV, so who cares.

It was funny. My friend Andy and I were eating lunch in Atwood today, and some girl stuck her lasagna in the microwave by us. The thing is, it was in a tin tray. Fire!! She quickly opened the door, pulled it out, the napkin the had covering it fell on her shoe, and she couldn't get it out. Finally, Andy helped her stomp it out. But man, how dumb is this girl! The number one rule of microwave ovens: No metal objects!!!!

And what's with this spam I get in my email box which says that when I unsubscribe it will take 3-5 business days to process. It's the Internet. Get an auto-reply-unsubscribe-me-from-the-list-bot.

So me and a friend were out driving tonight, and I thought it was funny that the Post Office sign was broken. It read "Un Post Office." I thought it was hilarious. Patrick didn't laugh.

With the help of a Internet friend, I have learned that indeed Saint Cloud, MN is the hotbed of the U.S.A. We have four record high's of 98 degrees or greater, Miami, FL only has two. Also, St. Cloud's record high's are higher than Miami's. Life has just handed me lemons. Do I make lemonade? No, but I do reconsider retiring in Florida.

I was watching Dismissed on MTV tonight. It was a Caucasian male and an African-American male duking it out over a Caucasian female. Do I have to tell you who won? Apparently the Affirmative Action laws don't apply to reality tv. Not that I care.

Yesterday was my neice's baptism. I ate a TON. I was full. I kept on eating. I ate some more. I drank some Cola (4x). I was merry. Tomorrow when I go to work I weigh in. I will post the results momentarily.

I finally got a shout-out on someone else's blog!! Surreal I tell you. It's funny cause this fella works at the same place as me, but I have never met him and I don't think I have ever seen him. Although a couple times I thought I did, but who knows. There's this guy who comes into the break room to buy a Mountain Dew in the late afternoon every so often, and I sometimes think it is him, but I have no clue. haha. Just for the record, his website is much nicer than mine and more professional looking. I should have someone design something nice for me.

Sometimes I have a hard time distinguishing between reality and big fat hoaxes? Is this for real?

Even though I wanted the Yanks to win, I gotta tip my hat top the Diamondbacks. What a great World Series. I will always remember it. If you missed the series, shame on you. You will have to borrow this from me sometime.

This is the most insane World Series I have ever witnessed in my life. No, no. Let's make that the most insane championship series in ALL OF SPORTS that I have ever witnessed in my life. Bring on Game Seven!!!!

I am pretty sure I don't want to go through the hassel of re-formatting all of my archives to my new template. I guess you will have to deal with it. In time there will be plenty more pearls of wisdom for you to draw upon.

My favorite pastime is........tracking my FedEx packages. I ordered a VCD from Maylasia. It shipped Wednesday, arrived in Anchorage, Alaska last night, and was on my doorstep when I got home from class at 11am. Wow. The world really is on time.

I'm not sure how to get those March posts to go away down there. Oh well...Also, I have found all my old archives, so I will post those in the coming days. Hopefully things will run smoothly while I am doing all of this :)

Okay I am trying to revert back to Blogger to update my webpage here. Hopefully it will lead to more posting because of ease of use. I am gonna be testing it this weekend and stuff. Please be patient.
